Oct. 10, 1965 - The trial against the monks-smuggler was held today at Valletri, a little town 40 km from Rome. The facts last may was revealed a smuggling of cigarettes. The smugglers had the base and the deposit in a convent of the Capuchin friars. The inquiring arrested two monks, two railway-men and two smugglers. Today, at the beginning of the trial, only a monk appeared before the judge. He is father Angelo Corsi, and the superior of the convent, father Milano also he incriminated, will be judged an contumcy because he do not want appeared before the judge.
