May 28, 1966 - 28-5-66 Scarface McGuire one of the escaped Parkhurst prisoners gave himself up because of hunger Scarface Tony McGuire who was one of the nine prisoners who escaped when a party of prisoners were on their way back to Parkhurst, the Isle of Wight top-security jail, after giving evidence in a prison stabbing says at Winchester Assizes. So far, seven of the prisoners have been recaptured. McGuire gave himself up because of Hunger and also tiredness. When he gave up at Bishops Waltham, Hants.
