Aug. 08, 1963 - Mystery Drug Used On Dr. Ward: A new drug was rushed by police escort yesterday to St. Stephens Hospital, Fulham where Dr. Ward. the Osteopath who has been found guilty of living on immoral earning. lies in a coma. His heart has stopped beating yesterday when the emergency call went out. The drug was brought by Lionel Bainger, manager of the A.H. Robins Ltd. of Horsham, Sussex, makers of the drug. He was given a police car escort to the hospital. Later Dr. Eward started was breathing again, but he was described as still being on the brink of death'.
