Jan. 01, 1967 -250, 00 Hatton Garden Raid: A gang got away with a haul of about250, 000 in gold ingots and rings, in a weekend raid at one of the Britain biggest manufacturing jewellers near Hatton garden. Brody Williams and Son, of Kirby Streem near Hatton garden in London was srtipped of its entire stock. Ninety per cent of it was ingots and blanks ready for stamping and processing.
