Dec. 12, 1965 - Lesley's mother in court drama.: The mother of 10-year old Lesley Anne Downey shouted: I will kill you, when she faced Myra Hindley across the courtroom at Hyde, Cheshire, today. Her dramatic outburst came after only one minute in the box at first witness in the prosecution's case of the alleged murder of her daughter. Her voice shaking and sobbing, Mrs. Gertrude Anne Downey cried: I will kill you, I will kill you - An innocent baby'.
