Federal Distinguished Service Cross For The Crew Of The Kidnapped Lufthansa-Jet And The Men Of The GSG-9 Honoured with the Federal Distinguished Service Cross: in Bonn (FRG) had been 66 women and men. It were the crew of the Lufthansa-jet Boeing 737, which had been kidnapped by terrorists on October 13th, 1977, and the men of the GSG-9. They had assaulted the jet at the airport of Mogadischu/Somalia on October 18th and resoued the 86 hostages.
