Sep. 09, 1969 - Deveaux Acquitted After Eight years Spent In Prison: Jean-Marie Deveaux, a Butcher's assistant, who was charged with the murder of a 9-year-old girl Dominique Bessard, the Butcher's daughter, and sentenced to 20 years detention was acquitted after a new trial held at Dijon court of assizes Saturday September 27th.
