Jun. 06, 1970 - A Man with Grenades forces polish Aircraft to land in Copenhagen : A polish airliner was forced to land in Denmark yesterday when a man threatened the pilot with two grenades. The Antonov 24, of Poland's national Airliner Lot, landed at Kastrup Airport near Copenhagen and the passengers were allowed to disembark. Then, the hijacker gave himself up to the police and asked for political asylum. The aircraft was taking 23 passengers from Gdansk to Warsaw.
