Oct. 10, 1968 - Claudie Trial: Judge Sums Up; Mr. Justice Milmo, summing up at the Old Bailey today in the Claudie murder trial, told the jury: An unlawful act does not become lawful because it is done by someone who has rendered himself intoxicated by drink or drugs. Listening in the dock was American Robert Lipman, 37 year old property agent, who has pleads not guilty to murdering 18 year old Claudie Delbarre at her flat in Walpole Street Chelsea.
