Jul. 07, 1970 - Lebach trial opened up in Saarbruecken: On June 29th the jury court in Saarbrucken/West Germany opened up trail against Hans-Juergen Fuchs (27), Wolfgang Ditz (27), and Gernot Wenzel (25). The three young men are on trial for having killed on January 20th, 1969, four soldiers of the German Army and seriously wounded another one, when they committed an armed attack on an Army ammunition depot near Lebach/West Germany.
