Jul. 07, 1970 - CS Gas Bombs in the Commons: A man suddenly stood up in the Strangers Gallery of the House of Commons yesterday and hurled two CS gas bombs on the floor of the chamber. With in seconds the House was filled with denes smoke and choking fumes. Offering no resistance, the man was immediately overpowered by attendants. According to people sitting near him, the man shouted, How do you like it? Now you know what it's like in Belfast. Photo shows James Roche seen peering from a police van as he is driven from Bow Street court after being remanded in coustedy for a week charged with possessing two Cs gas grenades in the Palace of Westminster
