Dec. 31, 1971 - Bank Raiders Captured: Three men who robbed a cologne bank on Monday were captured in a Saarland village on Wednesday after the ringleader was shot in the chest by police. Their captured ended two days and nights of a major police search along the German-French border in the Saarland. The other two men were unhurt.
