Sep. 14, 1970 - September 14th, 1970 Hijacked Airliners blown up Women and children passengers from the three aircraft hijacked by Palestinian commandos were freed from their desert prisons at Revolution Airfield, Jordan, on Saturday and driven to Amman. Minutes after their release the three aircraft were blown up. The guerrillas held back 40 men as hostages.
