Aug. 08, 1971 - Brutal Bankrobbery In Munich (West - Germany): Just before closing time (4 p.m.) two gangsters wearing maskes and provided with arms asaulted a branch of the Deutsche Bank in East Munic on August 4th, 1971. The gangsters held 13 hostages, but kept after a while only 5 of them (4 women, 1 man). A posse of policemen surrounded the building and blocked the area. Six sharpshooters of the police were posted at tactical important points. To let the hostages free the gangsters asked for 2 million marks and a safe-conduct. The police made them a car available. The gangsters gave an ultimatums till 10 p.m. About midnight the situation became dramatical. The money was there. One of the gangester left the bank with one hestage, the 20-year-old ingrid reppel, to get to the car. At this moment the sharpehesters fired and shoe the gangster, During the following shooting ingrid reppel, who was sitting in the car, got injured to death. Then police assaulted the bank, freed the hostages and caught the second gagster. The gangsters were the 32-year-old hans geroge Rammelwayr from Munich (who had been Killed) and the 24-years - old Toderove Dimitri, assumed to be german from graz (Austria)
