Aug. 08, 1973 - Bank gunman in Stockholm surrenders: Jan Erik Olsson, the 32 year old gunman who held four people three women and a man hostage for six days in a Stockholm bank, surrendered last night after police had drilled holes in the vault where he had taken refuge with his hostages.
