Aug. 08, 1973 - Steiner Before The Committee Of inquiry In Bonn: The former CDU member of the West German Parliament Julius Steiner, appeared before a Committee of Inquiry in Bonn, on the 7th and 8th of August. Steiner firmly reiterated his previous statesmen that he had been pained 50, 000 DM by Karl Wienand, to vote against Barzel in the crucial vote-of-no confidence against Chancellor Willy Brandt. He also stated that between January and May of this year, he had worked for the East German Secret service and had paid 3000 DM monthly by them, for this work.
