Crimes - Criminals - Judges - Lawyers - Trials

Jan. 01, 1973 - Trial Against the Third Albrecht Kidnappers in Essen. At the end of November 1971 Heinz Joachim Ollenburg and Paul Kron kidnapped the millionaire The Albrecht. He was held in a room next door to Ollenburg's attorney practise in Dusseldorf for 17 days. After the ransom of 7 million marks was paid, he was set free. Only half of this money has been recovered so far. In the last week the trial against the kidnappers has begun before the Superior Court in Essen. The Millionaire Theo Albrecht gave evidence before the court on the 12th January. OPS: Theo Albrecht (middle) with a partner of his lawyer (right) and an official of the Superior Court in Essen
