Jan. 01, 1975 - Police arrested Radical Party Secretary Gianfranco Spadaccia, 39, after he defiantly claimed responsibility for a clinic which performed about 6000 abortions. The Radical Party claims to champion human rights and woman's liberation. It also advocates free abortion and has acknowledged operating the clinic, discovered by Plice that arrested Spadaccia. They said he was charged with complicity in abortion and criminal association. Persons arrested at the clinic included a gynaecologist, three nurses and one plumber
