Dec. 12, 1975 - Moluccan Terrorists seize the Indonesian consulate in Amsterdam : Moluccan terrorists stepped up their pressure on the Dutch Government yesterday by Seizing the Indonesian consulate in Amsterdam, Holland, and taking 40 hostages and five children - who were later released. The fanatical gunman are demanding independence form Indonesia for their homeland, the South Moluccan islands.
