Dec. 12, 1975 - Moluccan Terrorists Seize The Indonesian Consulate In Amsterdam: Moluccan terrorists stepped up their pressure on the Dutch Government yesterday by seizing the Indonesian Consulate in Amsterdam, Holland, and taking 40 hostages and five children - who were later released. The fanatical gunmen are demanding independence from Indonesia for their homeland, the South Moluccan Islands.
