May 05, 1972 - Passengers Safe On Hijacked Plane: Israeli soldiers stormed four Arab commandos aboard the hi-jacked Sabena Airlines Boeing 707 airliner, and shot and killed two of them. Two male terrorists died instantly. One girl hijacker was seriously injured and another girl captured. Both were carrying grenades. Only six of the +90 passengers were hurt and two soldiers were injured. The jet was seized on Monday night after leaving Vienna, a stopping point on the flight from Brussels to Tel Aviv.
