Jun. 06, 1972 - Terrorist Leader Ulrike Meinhof arrested: As a new result of the biggest police search in West Germany, terrorist leader Ulrike Meinhof was arrested in Hannover Langenhagen yesterday. The head of the anarchical Baader Meinhof gang was the most wanted women in West Germany. The city guerillas of the group are suspected to have laid the bombs in various German cities by which four persons were killed. Also the terrorists are responsible for a number of bank robberys. With the arrest of Ulrike Meinhof (two weeks ago Andreas Baader was arrested in Frankfurt). the Baader0Meinhof gang is smashed out. The identification of Ulrike Meinhof was only possible by a X-ray photograph (some years ago she had a medical attention on a tumor in the brain).
