May 05, 1977 - Children Held Hostage By Terrorists: Terrorists in northern Holland today seized a primary school and held 115 children hostage, firing shots when parents tried to shout messages. The school is in the village of Bovensmilde. With the children are six teachers but some Moluccan children are reported to have been released. The Dutch Moluccan community are seeking independence for their Pacific homeland.
