Jan. 01, 1974 - I Made an Ass of Myself, Says Judge.: In the High Court Family Division on Monday, Mr. Justice Faulks, the divorce judge said of a man who was alleged to have kicked and hit his wife: If he had been a miner in South Wales, I might have overlooked it. But he was acultured gentlemen living in a respected part of the community, and that will not do. Later the judge admitted he should not have made the remark and added: I made an absolute ass of myself Photo shows Mr. Justice Faulks, pictured on his way to the High Court yesterday
