Oct. 10, 1977 - Italian Sympathizers of Baader Group Attack German Companies. Extreme leftists took their revenge for the prison suicides of Baader, Jan-Carl Raspe, and Gudrun Ensslin by attacking German commercial companies in Rome. Rome police were out in force to guard German premises, and search men and women for Molotov cocktails and other weapons, and although 25 persons were arrested some managed to cause material damage to German establishments.
