Oct. 10, 1969 - Accused Of Murder: The 3 former SS subordinate commanders of the concentration camp Sachsebhausen have been by the assizes in Munich. The 69-year-old mason Karl Drexl, the 64 year-old filler Kurt Eccarius, and the 57-year-old service station clerk Franz Kaver Ettlinger have been charged with the murdering of individual prisoners in an especially painful way between 1938 and 1945. Apart from several individual crimes the accused subordinate commanders participation in the mass execution of Soviet prisomers is regarded and punished as aiding and abetting in murder. Photo shows.
