Oct. 10, 1969 - Accused of Murder: The 3 former SS subordinate commanders of the concentration Camp Sachsenhausn have been by the assizes in Munich. The 69-year-old mason Karl Drexl, the 64-year-old filler Kurt Eccarius, and the 57-year-old service station clerk Franz Xavier Ettlinger have been charged with the murdering of individual Prisoners in an especially painful way between 1938 and 1945. A part from several individual crimes the accused subordinate commanders participation in the mass execution of Soviet prisoners is regarded and punished as aiding and abetting in murder.
