Apr. 15, 1961 - Criticism on the promotion of Kreipe: Protests and critics were roused by the suggested promotion of the commissionary manager of the department of the German Federal Ministry of Transport. When in 1923 Hitler tried to seize power via a riot, the members of the Infantry School which Kreipe belonged to at that time was ordered in the riot. Kreipe's unit was not ordered to in 1935, all members of the Infantry School of the Blood Order of the Nazi party
