Crowds outside Beatles Apple store, London
Jul. 07, 1968 - The Beatles give away £10, 000-worth of stock from their boutique Apple in London.: The Beatles have decided that they are tired of being shopkeepers and yesterday ordered that the thousands of pounds worth of stock in their boutique Apple, in Baker Street, London, should be given away without paying a penny. Hundreds of teenage customers were outside the shop this morning waiting for it to open so that they could take their pick from the off-beat clothes. Photo shows Police struggle with the crowds as they rush the entrance of the Apple boutique this morning
