Aug. 08, 1973 - Anxiety for Europe's oldest Monarch.: Europe's oldest monarch, 90-year-old King Gustav Adolf of Sweden, was today receiving artificial breathing aid following emergency overnight surgery for a serious stomach ailment. His condition was said to be satisfactory after the three-hour operation at Helsingborg Hospital, where he was rushed last Saturday after suffering an intestinal hemorrhage.
