Aug. 21, 1973 - Anxiety For Europe's Oldest Monarch: Europe's Oldest monarch, 90-year-old King Gustav Adolf of Sweden, was today receiving artificial breathing aid following emergency overnight. Surgery for a serious stomach ailment. His Condition was said to be satisfactory after the three the three-hour operation at Helsingborg Hospital, where he was rushed last Saturday after suffering an intestinal haemorrhage.
