Crown Prince of Tonga attends Oxford University

Oct. 10, 1969 - THE CROWN PRINCE OF TONGA ATTENDS OXFORD COURSE: The Crown Prince of Tonga, H.R.H. Prince Tupouto'A, the eldest son of King Taufa'Ahau, of Tonga, and grandson of the Late Queen Salote of Tonga, has arrived in Britain to begin a foreign service course at Oxford University. The course is organized by the University on behalf of the Ministry of Oversea Development under technical assistance arrangements. The Crown Prince was appointed c-inC of the Tonga Defense Force and the Royal Guards following a year's training at the Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst.
