Cruachan Dam, Loch Awe, Argyll, Scotland

Jan. 10, 1971 - Press Visit To The Hydro-Electric Scheme - Cruachan, Argyll, Scotland: The press made a visit for the second time since the opening of the Cruachan Power Station, Loch Awe, Argyll, Scotland, to see how the station was doing its job. This station is so modern that it only needs three men per shift to run it. During the recent power cuts last month Cruachan continued to supply at full load without interruption.
