Jul. 07, 1959 - CUBA'S LONDON ENVOY DENOUNCES PURCHASES OF ARMS IN EUROPE BY DOMINICA. Senor Santamarina the Cuban Ambassador to London - yesterday denounced the purchase of arms by a network of agents in Europe - for the Dominican Republic. The Ambassador held a press conference in London to call world attention to the aggressive policy of Gen. Trujillo, Dominican President. He said the General's activities in Europe showed that he had some fantastic aggressive scheme of his own'. (General Batista the former Cuban President, is in exile in the Dominican Republic).
