Cunard liner, Queen Elizabeth II
May 03, 1982 - Exactly a month after the Argentinian troops left for the Saint Malo Islands, the conflict between Argentina and Great Britain for the control of the archipelago degenerated during the weekend into a series of combats of which we do not know the precise outcome. The combats are difficult to assess because the information relayed by the two countries is contradictory. The latest news was that the British government just commandeered the Queen Elizabeth II in order to transport soldiers to the Saint Malo Islands
