Nov. 11, 1956 - State Apartments at Kensington Palace to be reopened to their public. The State apartments at Kensington Palace are to be re-opened to the Public on Thursday Nov. 29th. Since they were last opened to the Public the apartments have undergone many changers and have been extensively re-decorated. Much of Queen Mary's furniture will be shown. Photo shows General View of the Cupola room showing in centre the Temple of the Four Monarchies a famous clock made in 1730 for Augusta, Princess of Wales, mother of King George III
