Armourer to the Royal Opera House, custodian of the famous arms collection at Covent Garden is Cyril Brashier, 58-year old former army and Colonial Service officer. He is holding the blunderbuss, which weighs 18 lbs and has a muzzle 1o wide. On the wall behind is a Danish XVIII century pistol, and above it are seven real officers swords, topped by a Cossack with ivory hilt. Above these are various theatrical swords and the famous Lohengrin sword
