Dec. 29 PIMPERNEL Shaw arrives with sister-in-law. Rescued from Czech Secret Police. An R.A.F. wing commander, who has played Scarlet Pimpernal to a family facing arrest by the Czech secret police, landed at London Airport today. the wing commander, Donald Shaw, of Petersfield, Hampshire, brought with him his sister-in-law, British born Mrs, Mary Kukekava, and her 5-year old daughter two of the three people he secretly whisked out of Czechoslovakia Shaw spent five days in the mountain headquarters on the German-Czech border before he was able to rescue them, with the help of Resistance workers.
