Mrs. Sava Petty, 35, Yugoslav - born estranged wife of an American businessman, was on the verge of tears at heath-row yesterday, after a last minute attempt to prevent her two children from being returned to her husband had failed in the Appeal Court. Only last week she had snatched the children, Sonya 3, and don. 8 months, from her husband and brought tem back to England. But Mr. Don Petty, a property developer in California, took legal action to have them returned. For the tug-of-Love children it is their custody started last September, 37-year old Mr. Petty came to England and took them to America. Noe the legal battle for their custody must be fought in the American courts.
