Dame Sybil Thorndike portrait bust, cast in bronze

May 05, 1967 - DAME SYBIL BEING CAST IN BRONZE, DAME SYBIL THORNDIKE who is 85, is sitting for a bronze bust by 22 year old sculptress, LIZ MOORE, Yesterday Miss Moore was able to show Dame Sybil her likeness In clay modelled after only half an hour's work. Miss Moore, whose home is in Ashtead, Surrey, is also doing a head of Dame Sybil's husband, 92 year old SIR LEWIS CASSON. When finished, the two busts will stand in the foyer of the new theatre at Leatherhead, Surrey. which opens in 1969 PHOTO SHOWS:- 22 year old LIZ MOORE, the sculptress pictured yesterday with DAME SYBIL THORNDIKE and SIR Lewis CASSON
