Dancing club for retired people, Hamburg, Germany

Nov. 11, 1973 - Euro Disco Club 73 for pensioners: What is good for Europe's youth should be good also for its elder generations, say the initiators of this type of club who themselves are also retired. In a discotheque once a week on Thursdays afternoon the elderly folk get together to listen to hot rhythms, modern music and do some dancing, too. This special club for pensioners has just now been opened in Hamburg. Its members are as an average about 70 years old. The main incentive, of course, is to keep retired people active and organise their life in a joyful way. Photo shows view of the new club for seniors in Hamburg which was opened recently
