Feb. 29 A Tall Order For The Shoe Black: When the shoe black in Leicester Square, London, looked up at a customer he looked, and looked and looked. In fact he looked up twelve feet before he saw the face of the owner of the shoes which needed polishing. Never before had he been asked to clean the shoes of so tall a man as Henry Lewandowski, the stilt man at Bertram Mills Circus, Olympia, who was out for some exercise when he decided a polish would be a good idea. But so long as the size of the shoes to be cleaned are not in proportion to the height of the person whose feet are inside, the price remains the same
