Mar. 31 World Speed Mark Raised By Nearly 10 M.P.H.: Lt. Commander M.J. Lithgow and his Super marine Swift Mark IV have flashed across the Libyan Desert in North Africa at 737.3 m.p.h. almost faster than the previous best of Squadron Leader Neville Duke and his Hawker Hunter.
