Aug. 08, 1966 - The world's fastest shopper in London : The family who hold the title of the world's fastest shoppers are in Britain. They are Mr and Mrs. Buzidragis, and son Joe. 19. from Hartshorne, Oklahoma, U.S.A. They won the title week in a nationwide shopping spree contest which attracted more than 25, 000, 000 entries in the United States. In 30mins. they grabbed groceries worth more than 800, from the shelves and deep freeze of an American supermarket. Now they have come to London to do the same thing in one of our super markets, on Wednesday from 2 until 2-30 p.m. They will try to collect around 000 of food at the giant Tesco supermarket in Brixton. They will receive a cheque for the cash equivalent of the food they carry to the registers. and the sponsors Pepsi-Cola will donate the same amount of money to the Variety Club of Great Britain for the Mentally Retarded Children.
