Apr. 04, 1972 - Creggan, Derry, Northern Ireland - DAVID O'CONNELL, right, one of the most wanted Provisional IRA leaders, met the Press yesterday at a conference in the Creggan housing estate, Londonderry, part of what the Republicans now call Free Derry. He discussed plans for elections to determine a community government for the 35, 000 Roman Catholics in the area.
