Debutante en route to Buckingham Palace, London
Mar. 03, 1954 - Debutante goes to the palace - a year late. Miss Beverley Snyder, the plucky 18-year old debutante who had 18 operations after being burned just before she was due to make her curtsy to the queen last year, went to Buckingham palace this afternoon - a year late - to be presented to the queen mother at the presentation party. Last April she was severely injured when her dressing gown caught fire at her kensington home.
