Lockheed Bribery Trial Opens In Rome:Three Principal defendants accused of taking millions of dollars in bribes to favour the purchase of military aircraft from Lockheed for Italy's Air force went on trial in Rome. Two of the accused are former ministers of defence, and the third a lawyer who fled to Brazil, but was extradited at the request of the Italian government.
