Feb. 02, 1972 - 122 arrested in London Ulster demonstration: Hundreds of police in Whitehall last night grappled with nearly 5, 000 demonstrators when a protest march over the 13 Londonderry deaths last weekend developed into a riot. Many attempts were made to crash through police ranks to 10 Downing Street with 13 symbolic coffins but they were thrown back. Arrests totalled 122, and 55 policemen and 36 other people were injured.
