Mar. 03, 1955 - Demonstration Of Conqueror Tank: A demonstration of the new Conqueror tank was held today at the Fighting Vehicle Research and Development Establishment, at Chobham, Surrey. The first Conqueror tanks will be leaving shortly for BAOR where they will undergo extensive Troop Trials. Photo shows Two of the Conqueror tanks pictured during the demonstration. The one in the background has its gun stowed for travelling and the other is elevated for operations
