Dec. 12, 1977 - Italian Film Industry Crisis: Italian film production, currently at its lowest ebb, and the falling off of cinema attendance, blamed on television, has resulted in a demonstration by workers at the studios becoming unemployed. They are demanding that the Italian government subsidise the cinema industry as they demonstrate outside the Chamber of Deputies in Rome
